Over 2 hours of edited, to-the-point, training.

What Software Do I Need?

After Effects CC and Photoshop CC. It’d be best to use the latest releases, but not completely necessary. In order to open project files included with the course, you’ll need the latest versions; however, the techniques and principles taught can be utilized on any version of After Effects and Photoshop. In some instances, 3rd party plugins are used to speed up processes, but these are not necessary in any course. For this particular course, the plugins, Red Giant Universe, Trapcode Particular, and Video Copilot’s Optical Flares and Saber are used. In most cases, there are free trials of these 3rd party plugins available.

I’ve Never Made a Parallax Animation. Is this Course Right for Me?

Yes. This course is designed to push any motion designer to new levels of professionalism with the Parallax effect. If you struggle to make pro-level, eye-catching Parallax animations but want to take your animations to the next level, then this course is for you.

How Well Do I Need to Understand After Effects Before Taking this Course?

You need to have a basic understanding of—and be familiar with—the interface and workflows of After Effects before taking this course. This course is geared to make you a pro user of this technique. To do that, you need to first understand the basics in After Effects.
